Check this article out. Apparently Mauer is stealing signs, and doing it in a pretty blatant manner. As far as I am concerned it is part of the game, and if you are able to figure out the signs, then so be it. The other team should try to switch up the signs to avoid this from happening.

Well, it's not going to help the Twins win the AL Central since I think the Tigers will hold on.
Who cares honestly? I'm reading one of Cal Ripken's books now and he would be able to figure out some signals.
If a team doesn't switch it up, it's the team's fault.
It's part of the game, but Mauer needs to realize that Verlander might come back and him him the next time they play.
After Wednesday's game I thought the Tigers had the division locked up. I should have known better.
Peavy is dominating...so much for whether he can handle the AL. Edwin Jackson got lit up.
Twins are blowing out the Royals, but they do have to face Cy Greinke this weekend.
Another odd part: even though there's a runner on base, Verlander pitches from the full wind-up, and not from the stretch.
Mauer isn't a threat to steal, but nevertheless, all pitcher throw from the stretch when there's a baserunner on, even if it's someone as slow as Ortiz or Giambi.
Mauer does what everyone else does and there's nothing in the rules to prevent it. But, sadly, he's going to get the MVP for a team that won't make the postseason.
Mauer deserves the MVP, and that will be evident epsecially if the Twins make it to the playoffs.
Everyone does that, just they don't make it so obvious. I'm not sure if he was being stupid or just trying to send a message.
