Quick update- paper still not done!

Big week for the Yankees as they begin their 3 games series against the Red Sox tonight and a 3 game series against the Mets this weekend. It will be interesting to see how the Yankees do against the Red Sox now that they have a big piece of their team back from the disabled list.

The matchup for this series appears to be interesting as A.J. Burnett goes against Josh Beckett tonight (pending on the weather though). Wednesday is Wang vs. Wakefield and Thursday appears to be Sabathia vs Penny.

Here's hoping both teams beat the crap out of each other.

The Red Sox have the edge in this series, BUT rain might ruin everything. On ESPN 1050, Brandon Tierney actually claimed that the Mets series was more important...unh? Before Yankee fans puff out their chest about this season, can they beat the Red Sox even once? even the Rays and Jays have beaten Boston this year....

My biggest interest is in how AJ pitches. Will he blow up like the last time in Beanville OR will he pitch like he did for the Jays when against Boston?

Good luck with the paper!

Should be a good night of baseball. Yankees and Red Sox are about where we'd expect them to be. I hope Ortiz doesn't all of a sudden heat up since the Yankees are in town.

Looks like it might be a rain delay at Fenway. They should get the game in and in the meantime there is the MLB draft and Phils vs Mets.

Here's to hoping Wang returns to form tonight, then again that might be asking a bit much against the Red Sox.
