Quick Survey
Out of curiosity, how much money do you think Miguel Cabrera paid KeizoKonishi for that first place vote?

It makes no sense. It's not even like some crazy advanced stat showed him being superior. Like would have been the case if some crazy voter voted for Ben Zobrist over Mauer.
I thought Mauer was a really easy choice. Especially after Morneau got hurt and Mauer helped his team make the playoffs. Plus Mauer missed like a month and still had nearly 30 homers and 100 rbis. Plus was the batting champ and had the highest OBP in the AL.
Cabrera had a good season, but not MVP worthy and his team fell apart down the stretch. Plus, the guy was busy driving drunk the final weekend of the season. Went 0 for 11 the final 3 regular season games.
It was a total joke that someone voted him for 1st.
I'm 24, living in upstate NY and baseball is pretty much my life(along with teaching kids). Many ask about the name of the blog-I enjoyed watching Leiter pitch back in the day. Also, the knowledge he has about the game of baseball is quite vast which is why he brings a lot to the booth in broadcasting. I love hearing stories about the game of baseball, especially from those who were able to witness so many fascinating things back in the day. I love going to Tampa for ST; its been a yearly tradition since 2004. I may be a loser and go to major league and minor league games by myself, but I am content with that and have a ball talking with fans from all over! My favorite players are Matt Holliday and Roy Halladay. Email: christina1014nyy@yahoo.com

If Keizo did accept money for that vote, he should be fired. Miggy Cabrera is nuts though.
