There are too many young and inexperienced guys in the rotation. I want to wait and see how they handle the pressure of the AL East before I can really count them in.

On that note though, they have been impressive, along with the Jays offense. The team is really playing together with heart. The Yankees on the other hand have been extremely lethargic. One day the manta that money will buy you everything can end because it clearly hasn't been working out for them.

They literally have no catchers developing in their system. With an oft-injured and aging Posada, you would have thought they would have looked into that more. But again, their theory is to just go out and get everyone on free agency.Al Leiter's Bullpen Catcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11689195573801645992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278533327344154144.post-72471489678653871292009-05-07T07:58:00.000-04:002009-05-07T07:58:00.000-04:00I'm a Jays fan as you know and whatta game that wa...I'm a Jays fan as you know and whatta game that was! A dream game for Jays fanatics. an explosive offense that produces 13 runs and Doc coming through....wow! Mike Francesa has been mentioning the Jays a lot lately and by his words is betraying a little concern for the division.IT's funny how Jon Heyman admitted how he scoffed at the Jays when they started winning this year. Here are their strengths, they have a great manager and winner(Cito Gaston),improved offense, great defense and an excellent bullpen. Their weakness is their starting rotation because of their relative youth. Yes, Doc , Richmond, and Romero have been awesome BUT the rest of the starters are mysteries.John Kruk thinks they are for real BUT who knows with such a young pitching staff?Bruno Von Rottweilernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278533327344154144.post-76736540912835946432009-05-07T01:06:00.000-04:002009-05-07T01:06:00.000-04:00It's a joy to watch Roy Halladay and Johan Santana...It's a joy to watch Roy Halladay and Johan Santana. As long as they aren't facing the Yankees.

Halladay is your old school pitcher that goes deep into games every start. He's averaging over 7 innings per start. He has not pitched less than 7 innings in any start this season.

Halladay is 6-1 with a 3.29 era this season. Toronto is off to a 20-10 start. Wow.

Oh and PS. Good luck with that project.Kylenoreply@blogger.com
